I surface from a long healing Journey since last August, Spring is here, I feel the sun on my face, the eagles soaring above me, I go to the waters edge, I lay inside our voyaging canoe Ho'oku'i, closed my eyes, and just feel and listen. As the World and more specifically our Country in process of imploding, my tears find Gratitude. We will continue to do work and grow and re-dream and hopefully bring more People to the Water. It is vital now- to go to nature. To unplug, to paddle with others with One Mind, One Heart, One Breath.
A month back I made a quick video to capture the beautiful moments and experiences we have shared collectively with our canoes, other canoe families, our community, and friends from around the World. We are grateful and hope these sacred moments increase into the future as they are needed.
GATHERING OF THE EAGLES 2025
We are blessed that our 'Ohanas return in May and joining our Maui 'ohana as we prepare to paddle thru the communities of the San Juan Islands to the Lummi Nation. I am eager to look in the eyes and connect with all my prayer warriors that gave me so much hope while I was in the hospital last summer. The medicine felt was strong and there are not enough thank yous in the World to relay my Heart.
Here's the schedule for 2025! Hope to see everyone there
